Google Home and Pixel 4 deals offer massive Boxing Day savings

You can snag a Google Home for as little as £19 in Google's Boxing Day sales, making now the perfect time to pick up your first ever smart speaker to see what all the fuss is about, or add to your current fleet of connected home hardware. Every member of the Google Home family has been slashed in price for Boxing Day, including the firm's two smart displays: the Google Nest Hub and Nest Hub Max. The biggest difference between Google smart speakers and smart displays is the fact the latter comes with a screen that can be used to stream video, show pictures from your Google Photos library and exhibit contextual information.

Each Google Home also varies in audio quality but each has one main feature in common: the Google Assistant. The American firm's chatty helper comes built-in to every smart speaker and smart display so you can bark questions and orders at it as much as you like.

The Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 3a are some of Express.co.uk's favourite Android phones of 2019. The Pixel 4 is easily Google's best smartphone yet thanks to its smooth 90Hz display, new dual camera system and intelligent face unlocking.

The Pixel 4 isn't perfect. The handset comes with somewhat average battery life and doesn't have an ultra wide-angle rear camera like most other devices in its price range. With that said, it does take arguably the best main photos on any smartphone and will always be first in line to receive new Android updates.

The Pixel 3a is a much harder phone to fault. The device comes with the same outstanding single rear camera (and clever software trickery) as last year's Pixel 3 and also comes with an OLED display, something you don't find on many of its rivals.

All the Google deals listed above will run until the start of January, 2020.
