Before you start streaming with Kodi Addons / Builds, I would like to warn you that everything you stream on Kodi is visible to your ISP and Government. This means, streaming copyrighted content (free movies, TV shows, Sports) might get you into legal trouble.
Kodi users should always use a VPN to protect their identity while streaming.
I personally use and recommend ExpressVPN, which is the fastest and most secure VPN. It comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Meaning, you can use it freely for the first 30-days and if you are not satisfied with the performance (which is highly unlikely), you can ask for the full refund.
We do not encourage the violation of the copyright laws. But, what if you end up streaming content from an illegitimate source unintentionally? It is not always easy to tell the difference between a legit and illegal source.
So, before you start streaming on Kodi, here's how to get VPN protection in 3 simple steps.
Step 1: Get the ExpressVPN subscription HERE.
Step 2: Click HERE to download and install the ExpressVPN app on your device.
How to Use DuffLight Build
This is the home-screen of Kodi after installing the DuffLight build. Looks quite clean to me.
Note: Please allow the build to update its add-ons if this is the first time you are running it
The first thing remarkably noticeable is that DuffLight build doesn’t have a submenu bar snapped to the main menu bar. You bring up the submenu, select an item in the menu and click it (or press the down navigation key)
As you can see in the image below, I selected Movies and then expanded it to bring up the submenu.
The submenu shows the addons related to Movies and other options like Authorize RD.
There isn’t a great deal to explore in this build. To keep it light, the developers have cut down the features to basics. But, I don’t mind it. Some builds come loaded with tons of features we barely get to use or don’t care about.
The steps above will help you install the DuffLight build on Kodi. Even though this build works on all the devices which support Kodi, it is particularly suited for FireStick due to its small size. The build works almost without any glitches or lags on my FireStick device. Go ahead and try it!
