Full checklist (dates, viewer and creator steps): www.husham.com/vimeo-on-demand-shutdown-20-november-2026-checklist/
Vimeo On Demand shuts down on 20 November 2026. After that, viewers lose access to everything they bought or rented there. New purchases and subscriptions already stopped on 21 September 2026. Here is the short version of how to save what you can.
1. Sign in with the account that paid and open vimeo.com/purchases. List what you still want.
2. Download any title that shows a download option, to a drive you control. No download button means the creator never allowed it: watch it before 20 Nov.
3. Rentals still expire on their original date or on 20 Nov, whichever comes first.
4. Refunds are not automatic. Vimeo reviews requests case by case through Vimeo Support (have your purchase details ready).
Purchases and watch history cannot be transferred to another platform. Creators: export your sales data from the analytics dashboard before 20 Nov.
