Xabi Alonso told BBC Sport that Maxence Lacroix is out for a few weeks with a hamstring issue, Jorrel Hato is still sidelined, and Moises Caicedo is fine. Emiliano Martinez may return before the international break with a mask, but not for this one. Joao Pedro, Reece James and Jamie Gittens remain injured.
- Manchester United: Michael Carrick told BBC Sport that Benjamin Sesko is out for a long period with a shin injury, Kobbie Mainoo has done some training and is around the group, and Bruno Fernandes is available after clear-the-air talks. NBC Sports also flags Lisandro Martinez as likely to return, with Manuel Ugarte still out.
