What do we need a Netflix VPN when this service is already available in my country? That’s because some popular TV shows or Movies may not be available in your area. Netflix has to place Geo-restrictions to comply with the copyright and licensing laws of the land. But, we can get rid of such Netflix problems and unblock video streaming by using a VPN for Netflix. However, free VPNs for Netflix tend to give errors like Netflix Proxy Detected. That’s what (and more) we will talk about here. Stay tuned!
If you are in hurry and want to have a quick look at the best VPNs for Netflix, check out the table below. You can scroll down for detailed information about each of these VPNs.
Netflix is the biggest online entertainment service providers in the world with hundreds of millions of subscribers. Only a couple of years ago, Netflix carried out a major expansion and started offering its services in more than 190 countries. When Netflix announced its worldwide expansion, many rejoiced for they could now get access to their favorite movies and TV shows, which were earlier restricted to a handful of countries. Most of the users were under the impression that once Netflix is officially available in their country, they will have complete access to its entire database of content.
Apparently, it did not work out this way. While Netflix continues to provide binge-worthy content, there is a lot that has been Geo-restricted. This means that there is some region-specific content you could only watch if you were physically present in that region. Even though the company never promised to open up its entire collection to users in all the countries, many hearts were still broken. And, most of us remained unbeknownst to this limitation until we had actually subscribed to the service.
Netflix has its legal and/or strategic reasons to Geo-restrict some content, but for us it is, to say the least, frustrating. Is there anything we can do about it? Can we work our way around this restriction and watch region-specific content? Well, thankfully, there is a way to bypass this limitation and it is called VPN (Virtual Private Network).
There are some VPN services that virtually Geo-locate your internet connection to a completely different region using one of their many servers worldwide. Since 2016, Netflix has been campaigning against the VPN servers. It has literally spent millions in detecting and blocking the VPN servers. They have been fairly successful in their endeavor as they have already detected and restricted hundreds of such servers.
But, that’s not the reason for you to be concerned. Fortunately, there are still some top-grade VPN service providers that have managed to elude the Netflix’s searchlight. In this article, we will learn about the top VPN services you can use to watch the Geo-restricted content on Netflix.
Why Does Netflix Geo-Restrict Some Content?
Before you start labeling Netflix cheap or mean or niggardly, let me tell you something. Netflix stands to gain more by giving access to as much content as possible to as many people as possible. So, Geo-restricting is definitely NOT one of their marketing strategies to make things harder to get so that they become more desirable.
Copyright and licensing are the reasons why all of Netflix’s database cannot be made available in all the countries. There is no global license to host the content on any online entertainment platform. Services like Netflix must obtain individual licenses for each content in every country.
Studios and production houses usually have different licensing contracts in different countries. If a particular content available on Netflix in one country has been licensed to be hosted by another platform in another country, Netflix will have to restrict that content in the second country. For instance, a TV show available on Netflix in the USA may not be available on the same platform in the UK due to licensing issues.
In the same way, if a satellite channel has secured the rights to broadcast a particular content in a region it will not be available for online streaming on Netflix.
Apparently, Netflix USA has the largest content library for the simple reason the company is headquartered in this country.
Your Internet Service Provider (ISP) assigns a unique IP address to your internet connection. IP addresses not only identify your country but also your region. In fact, IP address can even tell who a particular connection belongs to. Netflix uses this IP address to route the content specific to your region or block the content restricted to other regions. This is why you cannot access the USA Netflix library until you are using a VPN.
Not All VPNs Can Stream Netflix’s Geo-Restricted Content
Earlier in this article, I briefly touched upon how a VPN service can help you bypass the region limitation and let you stream your favorite Geo-restricted content. A Netflix VPN will route the network transactions from your internet through one of the servers in the region whose content you wish to watch. For example, if you wish to access the Netflix USA content from another country you could have your request routed through a VPN server in the USA. This way your original IP address will be masked and VPN will trick Netflix into believing that the access request has been made from within the US.
But, as I have already said, not all the VPN services can help you do that, especially the free ones.
Netflix spends big bucks on identifying, detecting and blocking the VPN servers. This is why we get Proxy detected error while trying to stream Netflix with a free VPN. Even most of the paid VPN services keep getting blocked from time to time. There are only a bunch of VPN providers that can truly offer access to restricted Netflix content. We will talk about the three most popular, most effective VPN for Netflix in this article namely – ExpressVPN, NordVPN, and IPVanish.
How Does Netflix Detect a VPN: Quick Look
Before we jump into the details of these VPN services, it would be worth your while to know how Netflix proxy error appears and how the company is able to tell VPN servers from the regular ones.
When you are connected to a VPN server, a new IP address is assigned to your connection. But, you are not the only one using the same server. Hundreds and even thousands of users may be using the same server at any given time. Most VPN providers assign the same IP address to you and all other users on that server.
There are primarily two reasons why the same IP is given to every user: Firstly, it is more cost-effective to the VPN providers. With this, not only do they save more per connection but they can also lower the subscription fee they charge from their customers.
Secondly, one of the biggest reasons why people use VPN is to maintain anonymity. When there are multiple users on the server with the same IP address, online anonymity is easily preserved.
A Netflix VPN has a lot of Netflix users logged into a particular server at any given time. Multiple users coming from the same IP address brings the server on Netflix’s radar. The company probably puts some algorithm into play and identifies the IP address belonging to a VPN server. As a result, the IP address is blocked and you are no longer able to stream region-restricted content. That’s when you see the error Netflix Proxy Detected.
But, don’t lose hope. You can still unblock video streaming provided you are using one of the servers I mentioned above. It is not that these VPN providers have found a way to keep their server IP address undetected. On the contrary, their IP addresses also get blocked by Netflix. However, they have a solid team of engineers that keep working round the clock to make sure there are always new IP addressed available to their users.

Best VPN for Netflix (2018)
We will now take a more in-depth look at the best Netflix VPNs 2018. I will start with ExpressVPN because in my personal opinion it is the best VPN for Netflix. But, the other two are pretty good too.
ExpressVPN – #1 Best Netflix VPN
ExpressVPN has been eluding the Netflix VPN detection algorithm for quite some time. Even though Netflix banned many of its IP addresses and servers, the developer of this VPN service are always up on their toes and keep coming up with new virtual locations. For the most part, you can connect to a server quickly and start streaming restricted content almost immediately. Sometimes you will run into Netflix proxy issues that prominently plague other VPN providers. Such instances, however, are relatively fewer as compared to other services.
There are a few things that make Express VPN Netflix service stand out from the rest. It’s biggest draw is its number of servers. Presently, ExpressVPN has more than 1,500 servers spread across nearly 100 countries. Of course, a big percentage of its servers are in the United States – the most popular location for Netflix VPN service.
One of the biggest challenges with most VPN services is that they reduce the internet connection speed provided by your ISP. Some VPNs even bring down the speed by more than 50%. Fortunately, that’s not the case with ExpressVPN. You will achieve 80-90% of the original speed, which is truly impressive. It is good enough to stream all types of content including HD and even 4K. I wouldn’t mince my words saying I am quite impressed with this feat.
ExpressVPN also has a built-in ‘Speed Test’ tool that indexes its servers by speed and lets you choose the servers with fastest download speed. This further makes sure that you experience least amount of latency and minimum Netflix problems while streaming your favorite content.
Netflix is available on almost all the popular platforms in use these days. This entertainment service has native apps for Android, iOS, Windows Mobile, Windows PC, Mac OS, and Linux. Thankfully, ExpressVPN is also supported on all these platforms. So, it does not matter which device you are using Netflix on, if you want to get a new server location for your device, ExpressVPN will come to your aid. In fact, ExpressVPN also has extensions for the popular browsers like Chrome and Firefox.
If you happen to own Apple TV, Amazon FireStick, PlayStation 3 or 4, or Xbox 360 or one, you are in luck. ExpressVPN offers MediaStreamer service that lets you access Geo-restricted Netflix content on these device platforms as well.
You can use ExpressVPN on multiple devices at the same time. A single subscription to this service allows you to use it on 3 devices. To know more, read our ExpressVPN review.
Let’s get this straight! ExpressVPN is definitely not one of the cheapest VPN services. In fact, it is costlier (even if slightly) than most other such services. But, given the fact that it has such a large number of servers and that it offers excellent speed and connectivity, it is every bit worth its salt.
ExpressVPN is available in three pricing tiers as follows:
- Monthly: $12.95 per month
- Half Yearly: $9.99 per month (billed $59.95 lump sum every 6 months)
- Best Value for Money: $6.67 per month (billed $99.95 lump sum for 15 months)
All the plans above come with a 100% money back guarantee within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the service, you can have your money returned without any hassles.
How to get ExpressVPN for Netflix
Here is how you can get subscribe to ExpressVPN services.
Visit the official website using any computer or mobile browser. Click ‘Get ExpressVPN’ on the page (see image above).
Choose one of the 3 available plans as shown below. As you can see, 15 Months plan is the most popular with biggest savings (49%).
Once you have chosen the plan, scroll down a bit. Enter your email address and choose your payment mode.
You can make the payment using one of the of the major credit card providers, PayPal and even Bitcoin. Yes! Even Bitcoin. There are additional payment options in the ‘Other’ section. Select the payment mode, enter the payment details and make the payment.
Once you have made the payment you will receive the activation code, which you will use to log in to ExpressVPN desktop or mobile app.
Setting Up and Installing ExpressVPN
ExpressVPN is one amazing VPN that works with Netflix and many other services. But, before you can use it on your computer you will need to set it up first. If you are using the app on Android, iOS or Windows mobiles, simply download it from the respective stores and sign in with the login credentials you created while buying the ExpressVPN subscription.
Install ExpressVPN On Your Windows / Mac/ Linux Computer
Here are the simple steps that work on Windows, Mac, and Linux computers:
#1. Sign in to your ExpressVPN account on its website.
#2. Click Set Up ExpressVPN button. This will redirect you to the downloads page
#3. Now click on the desired OS section and download the installer file of the app for your operating system version
#4. Now run the installer file that you just downloaded. You will see the installation screen like this:
#5. Click ‘Yes’ when you see the warning message below:
#6. The installation process will start as shown below:
#7. Once the installation is complete, click ‘Close’:
Install ExpressVPN On Your Mobile
Getting started with ExpressVPN on a mobile is just as easy as setting it up on a computer. Make sure you have downloaded the app from the official app store. The app has the same interface across all mobile platforms. The below steps are for Android but they work the same way on other mobiles. Here is what you need to do:
#1. Open the ExpressVPN app on your device and tap the ‘Sign in’ button
#2. Sign in with your email address and password (the one you created for your account while signing up)
That’s it! You are all set to go on your mobile with ExpressVPN.
NordVPN – #2 Best VPN for Netflix
NordVPN is another service that has successfully managed to escape Netflix’s aggressive crusade against VPN providers. This VPN is supported on a wide range of device platforms. It is incredibly easy to install, set up and use on any platform. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly. Even laypeople and first time VPN users will have no difficulty wrapping their head around it.
NordVPN has more than 1,000 servers in all the countries where most users like to unblock proxy of Netflix from. It is not as widespread as ExpressVPN. However, since it has its servers in the most sought after locations including the US and UK, it is good enough for the majority of Netflix fans. Many of its servers have been detected and banned by Netflix. Yet, they have plenty to keep you going. If Netflix won’t load with one server, no worries; move on to another one.
NordVPN Netflix provides pretty agreeable connectivity and speed I would say. It may not be as fast as ExpressVPN, for the latter sets really high standards. However, if you are getting decent speed from your ISP, you will have a satisfactory experience.
This is one area where you have absolutely no need to be concerned. NordVPN offers extensive multi-platform support and compatibility. You name a platform and you have NordVPN for it.
Of course, it is available on the more popular platforms like Android, iOS, Windows mobiles and Windows, Mac and Linux computers. It also has browser plugins and extensions for major browsers like Chrome and Firefox.
NordVPN extends its support to a wide range of network systems, hardware, and routers.
NordVPN is significantly cheaper than ExpressVPN, especially if you consider the yearly subscriptions. But, 3-year plan is where this VPN service really shines. The 3-year plans is billed $99 every 36 months, saves you more than 75% and brings down the average monthly cost to $2.75.
NordVPN offers 4-tiered pricing with a 30-day money back guarantee at the time of writing this article as shown in the image below:
The 3-year plan is an ‘Exclusive’ and limited-time offer. If you need to use a VPN for this long and are looking for massive savings, get this plan now.
As you can see, unlike ExpressVPN, NordVPN doesn’t have a biannual plan. However, its 1-year plan costs $69, which is only nearly $10 more than ExpressVPN’s half-yearly plan.
With the average monthly cost of $3.29, the 2-year plan is also a pretty solid deal.
My opinion is that even though there is a slight compromise in speed and server count, if you intend to use VPN only as Netflix unblocker then NordVPN should be good enough for you.
If you plan to use VPN only for a month then there isn’t a lot to choose between the two in terms of pricing. NordVPN is only $1 cheaper than ExpressVPN. It is best to go for latter as you gain higher speed and more servers.
NordVPN lets you use the service in up to 6 devices per account. This is another area where it outsmarts ExpressVPN.
Getting Started with NordVPN
Much like ExpressVPN, you will first need to buy the NordVPN subscription and set up your account before you can start using the services. The process is fairly easy. Here is what you need to do:
Go to NordVPN official website and click ‘Get NordVPN’ link.
You can also download the mobile app on Android, iOS and Windows OS from the respective app stores and tap ‘Start Free Trial’ button to get started (see image below)
Choose one of the available plans
Scroll down a bit and enter your email address. Select the desired payment mode and make the payment.
NordVPN also accepts Bitcoin payments.
Follow the onscreen instructions and set up your account. You will create account login credentials during the process.
Download and Install the NordVPN Application
If you are using Android, iOS or Windows mobile app, simply go to the respective app stores and download NordVPN app (if you haven’t done that already).
If you are using Windows, Mac or Linux computer, follow the instructions below to download and install NordVPN desktop application:
Go to NordVPN’s website in any browser and click ‘My Account’ link on the top right. You should now be on the login page as shown below:
Sign in with your login credentials. Your account landing page will look like as shown in the image below. Click ‘Download Area’ link on the white bar.
You will be redirected to the page ucp.nordvpn.com/profile/downloads. Download the application or software for the operating system you are using (Scroll down on this page to view the list of all the compatible platforms):
The following steps are for Windows 10 OS. But, they work pretty much the same across all OS.
Run the NordVPNSetup.exe file to start the installation. Click ‘Yes’ when you see the following warning message:
Click ‘Install’ button on the next screen (you can also choose the destination folder where you wish to install the app)
Wait a few minutes for the installation to complete. Once the app is installed, run it and the login screen will look like this:
Sign in with the email address you provided and password you created during the Signup process.
IPVanish – #3 Best Netflix VPN
IPVanish is widely considered as one of the top VPN service providers worldwide. After having used ExpressVPN, NordVPN, and IPVanish for a fair amount of time, I can say that IPVanish is not as good as the other two. However, if you are just looking for Netflix unblock solutions then this tool can do the job well for the most part. Again, streaming isn’t as great as you would like, but it is good enough for most users. Let’s weigh IPVanish in more details against the most important Netflix VPN parameters.
As Netflix is rapidly detecting the VPN servers, it is important to have a good server count for a VPN service provider. In comparison to the other two VPN services we have listed here, IPVanish may appear a little weak. But, if you look at it in isolation, I reckon it is good enough. IPVanish has been the biggest victim of Netflix’s crusade against the VPN servers. In fact, if you would Google with the keyword like, ‘IPVanish Netflix’, you will find many websites in the top results stating that IPVanish doesn’t work with Netflix any longer.
This is only partly true. There was a time when most of its servers had been detected and banned by Netflix. But, IPVanish has come back in business with nearly 800 servers spread across more than 50 countries. Most of its servers are in the USA and Europe.
At the time of writing of this article, I had tested many of the servers and they worked with Netflix.
VPN connection speed seems to be a challenge with IPVanish these days. At 80mpbs, my internet connection speed is pretty good. Without VPN, for the most part, I can play even the 4K content without experiencing any buffering issues. But, with IPVanish I could barely utilize 50% of the speed and that was also very inconsistent. While Netflix content from the USA did stream, the resolution was probably the lowest.
IPVanish displays the speed graph right on the home screen when you are connected to its VPN server. Look at the picture below and you will know what I am talking about. That’s unimpressive, to say the least.
This hasn’t always been the case with IPVanish though. They used to go as high as 70-80% once. And sometimes it is quite fast. But, as I said, consistency is missing. I hope the developers are looking at it and will find a solution soon.
ExpressVPN and NordVPN are clearly faster than IPVanish at this time.
As far as Netflix VPN solution is concerned, IPVanish has you covered on all the major platforms. It has a dedicated app for Android, iOS mobile platforms, which you can download from the official app stores. It also has the desktop client for Windows and Mac computers. If you are using Windows mobile, you can set it up manually using the method laid out on its website.
IPVanish will help you bypass the Netflix proxy error on a wide range of devices including laptops, desktop computers, Android smartphones, Android-based Amazon FireStick, iPhone, iPad and, iPod Touch and many more.
IPVanish is available in 3-tiered pricing as follows:
- Monthly: Paid $10 per month
- Quarterly: Billed $26.99 per three months (averages $8.99 per month approximately)
- Best Value for Money: Billed $77.99 per year (averages $6.49 per month approximately)
Evidently, the yearly plan offers most savings, nearly 46% as compared to month by month payment plan. You can also use IPVanish coupon SAVE20NOW at checkout that will save additional 20% for you.
As you can also see, they support all the popular payment modes. However, unlike ExpressVPN and NordVPN, they do not have Bitcoin payment yet. Also, IPVanish offers the only 7-Day money back guarantee as compared to 30 days available with the other two VPN services.
Getting Started with IPVanish
Here is how you can sign up for the IPVanish Netflix services.
#1. Visit the official website and click ‘Start Now’ on the top right corner of the page. If you are using the mobile app, you can tap ‘SIGN UP’ on the bottom right. You will again be redirected to the website
#2. Select one of the available plans as we talked about above
#3. Provide your email address and choose a password
#5. Select the payment mode of your choice and make the payment

If you are using Windows or Mac computer, you can download the desktop client app from IPVanish website.

#2. Run the Setup file; you will see the screen as shown below. Click ‘Next’

#4. Choose a new location for installation or install it at the default path. Click Next to proceed
#5. Click ‘Install’ on the next screen to proceed
#6. Click ‘Yes’ when you see the following warning
#7. Once the installation is complete you will see the screen as shown in the image below. Click ‘Run IPVanish’ to launch the app or click ‘Close’ if you want to run it later
Now that you know which VPN is best for Netflix, it is the time that you know how to start streaming with the VPN you bought. If you have been using free VPN for Netflix, you must have encountered proxy detected error. In case of paid ones, it is still possible that you get Netflix proxy error on some servers. But it is easily fixable by switching to another server. You can also contact the VPN support staff to know which VPN server is working best with Netflix. You can read below how to use Netflix with VPN (ExpressVPN, NordVPN, and IPvanish).
How to Use Netflix with ExpressVPN
We will now learn how to select the desired server on ExpressVPN to stream the Netflix region-specific content. The following steps and images are for ExpressVPN Windows. However, since this VPN tool has the similar interface across all platforms, you will have no difficulty using it on your device.
The only major difference between mobile and desktop client. On the mobile app, you need to first sign in with your ExpressVPN account credentials (email address and password) and then enter the activation code. On the other hand, you can start using the app on your computer directly by providing the activation code.
To obtain the activation code, check the Welcome Email that you received from ExpressVPN. Click on “Setup ExpressVPN Now” inside the email and you will be taken to the Activation page.
#1. Run ExpressVPN App on your device and enter the activation code.
#2. Wait for ExpressVPN to get activated
#3. Click ‘Start Using the App’ button when it is activated
This is the home screen you will see after the activation (image below)
#4. Click ‘Choose Location’ button on this screen. A new screen will pop-up with the list of the servers. There are three tabs here – Recommended, All and Recents. Select the ‘Recommended’ tab (we will talk about the other tabs later)
#5. Since we want to stream the Netflix USA content, click on the small triangle on the left next to the United States to see the list of the recommended servers for this location.
#7. Now click the Connect button (looks like Power button) as shown in the image below.
ExpressVPN will now start connecting. Once you are connected to the server, this is how your ExpressVPN screen will look like
You are all set now. Now go ahead and open Netflix in your web browser. You can use your existing Netflix account. Cheers!
What if ExpressVPN Netflix is Not Working?
If the chosen ExpressVPN server is not working with Netflix, there is a chance it has been detected by Netflix or it is experiencing some temporary issue. No worries! You can easily choose another server.
#1. Click the ‘Connect’ button again to disconnect from the currently connected server
#2. Click Choose Location button again and this time select a different server (say, USA – Washington DC – 2)
#3. The Recommended tab only shows the servers most frequently used or most popular servers. If you want to see the list of all the servers, click ‘All’ tab. Here is how the server list is categorized:
You will find all the USA server in the ‘Americas’ category.
In the Recents tab, you can see the list of the servers you have recently connected to or the servers you have favorited.
How to Use Netflix with NordVPN
NordVPN offers a wide range of features. However, since we want to know how to unblock Netflix, we will only touch upon the relevant aspects. We will learn to use NordVPN on both computer and mobile devices.
Windows PC, Mac & Linux
NordVPN interface looks much alike on all the computer OS platforms. Once you are signed in, this is what you will see:
If you happen to see any promotional pop-up message, just close it to get to this screen.
Now the question is: How to watch Netflix USA in India or any other country? For this, you will need to be connected to one of the US servers. On the home screen of Nord, click ‘Countries’ option on the top left (image below) Scroll down until you see the United States. Click the ‘Connect’ button (looks like the Power button). NordVPN will connect you to the best available server in the United States.
This is how your screen will look like once connected. The ‘Connect’ button has turned green. You can also see that a new IP address has been assigned to you.
Now go ahead and open Netflix in your web browser. You can use your existing account.
But, what if you are experiencing troubles with or are not satisfied with the server NordVPN connected to you by default? No worries, you can change to another US server. And, there is a huge list of servers to choose from.
Click the icon next to the Connect button with three horizontal lines one over the other. You will see a list of the available servers (image below). Simply click on the server of your choice to switch to it.
Once you are finished, tap the toggle on the top to disconnect from the server you are connected to.
The method laid out below is for Android. But, it is more or less the same across all mobile platforms.
Open the NordVPN app on your mobile and sign in with your email address and password.
Tap the ‘List’ tab on the bottom right. You can now see the list of the servers. Scroll down to ‘United States’
Tap the ‘Connect’ button next to the United States. You will now run into a series of warning messages and prompts requesting permissions. NordVPN is safe so grant all the necessary permissions.
Once you are connected, this is how NordVPN will look like:
What if this Netflix VPN is not working on the server NordVPN chose by default? No problem. You can choose another server.
Instead of tapping the ‘Connect’ button, tap on the flag or name of the country instead (United States) in our case. You will see the list of the servers as shown below:
How to Use Netflix with IPVanish VPN
Now we will learn how to use Netflix with this VPN service. The method I have outlined below is for Windows 10. It works exactly the same way on Mac.
For Mobiles: The interface, features, and options are also the same on the mobile apps for Android and iOS. Download the app from the official app store and log in with your email address and password you created at the time of sign up. Grant the app all the necessary permissions to let it run smoothly on your device.
Here are the steps to use IPVanish on your computer:
Run IPVanish. You will see the following screen. Log in with your email address and password and click ‘LOGIN’ button to continue
Wait for a few seconds before IPVanish logs you in
Once you are logged in, this is how the interface of the app will look like. On the left sidebar, the Quick Connect option is selected by default. For the most part, you will only need to use this section. However, if you want to view all the available servers, you can click ‘Server List’
The Quick Connect option has the drop-down menu for Country, Best City and Best Server on the bottom right. Select the United States as your country (since we want to stream Netflix from here), select the City and the Server from the respective dropdowns.
Click ‘Connect’ and the following message will appear. Click ‘Yes’ to continue (just a routine, additional driver installation; nothing to be worried about)
Click ‘Install’ when you see the following warning message
Click ‘OK’ on the message that appears
Once the driver is installed, Click ‘Connect’ again to connect the selected server as shown in the image below.
Now go ahead and log in to your Netflix account using your existing username and password. You will now have access to the content from the Netflix USA. Cheers!
FAQs: Netflix Errors
I have been getting some questions frequently, so I thought it is better I answer them here for the information to all my readers.
How to Watch Netflix USA in India
It is the most popular question I have been receiving lately. We all know that Netflix USA is the most popular choice all over the world. So the users who are in India and wondering how they can watch Netflix USA, it is simple – use a VPN as described in this article. I have been using ExpressVPN for last 18 months and it works very great. The best of all reasons is, it doesn’t reduce the internet speed much which is most important for streaming Netflix without buffering.
How to Unblock Netflix
The answer to this question is same as the above question. No matter where you live, if you want to stream Netflix USA or want to unblock any other country version, the only and best way is the Virtual Private Network.
My Netflix VPN is Not Working
It is another popular question from the VPN users. Well, if you are using a free VPN, there is hardly any chance that you will be able to stream anything with Netflix. Most the servers of free VPN providers are already detected and blocked on Netflix system.
If you are using a paid VPN, there are chances that the server you are connected to has some issues or has been blocked. In this case, just switch your server to another city and you should be fine. You can also contact your VPN support staff to ask which server is working for Netflix.
ExpressVPN works very smooth with Netflix. So I suggest that you give it a try and see how it works for you. It comes with a 30-day money back guarantee, so nothing to lose. You can ask for a full refund if you don’t like their service.
Suggest a free VPN that works with Netflix
If you are looking for free VPN that works with Netflix, you are not alone. I did a lot of research and tried more than 20 free VPN providers to stream Netflix. The outcome is – none of the free VPNs work with Netflix. Every time I encountered “proxy detected” error.
Conclusion on Best Netflix VPN
Netflix blocks VPN servers regularly. This is why most of the VPN services are not able to bypass the Geo-restriction placed by this entertainment service. If Netflix is not working with a VPN and you see proxy detected error, it simply means that its server has been detected and blocked. However, the three VPN services we have talked about in this article have managed to give you access to the region-specific content in spite of Netflix’s raids. These VPN services stay a step ahead of Netflix by continually introducing new servers and new virtual IP locations. If you are still confused which VPN you should buy out of the three options we discussed, my vote is for ExpressVPN. I hope you found this article useful. Please feel free to drop your suggestions and feedback in the comments section below.
