A viral post with over 9 million views is telling people to stop using Sign in with Google. Dr Husham Memar explains why that advice is mostly right for important accounts, how one compromised Google login can unlock many linked services, and the simple steps to fix it today: strong 2FA, review third-party access, separate passwords for important services, and a password manager.

✅ Do this now:
1. Turn on strong 2FA on your Google account (authenticator app or hardware key preferred over SMS)
2. Google Account → Security → Third-party apps with account access → remove anything you don’t recognise
3. For important services (email, payments, hosting, YouTube, admin panels), use a separate login + 2FA instead of Sign in with Google
4. Use a password manager so you don’t reuse passwords: www.husham.com/go/nordpass
