I keep bouncing between IPTV players on the Fire Stick. Half of them look polished in screenshots and then collapse the second you try to tidy a messy playlist with a remote. Trinity TV Player is the one that made me slow down and actually read the official site this week.
Official home is trinitytvplayer.com. It pitches itself as a video player for Android TV, Google TV and Fire Stick first, with phones and tablets supported too. Apple (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV) is listed as coming soon. Not on Google Play yet. Sideload for now.
Important bit before anyone gets the wrong idea: Trinity is a player. It does not ship channels, films, series or a subscription. You add your own sources. No playlist, nothing to watch.

If you already skimmed my notes on StreamVault or Lumora, this is a different itch. Trinity leans hard into a brushed-metal living-room UI, an Online Manager in the browser, and a free tier with optional Trinity Enhanced for cloud tools.
What the official pages actually claim
I stuck to trinitytvplayer.com (home plus the account / playlist manager screens). Here is what those pages support, without inventing extras:

- Playlist types in the web manager: Portal login, Server login, Direct link (plus optional guide/EPG URL)

- Cloud backup / restore of your profile with a short transfer code (Trinity Enhanced), plus offline USB / SD backup
- Online Manager: push playlists to the website, edit groups and channels on a keyboard, pull changes back to the device
- Kiosk mode locked to Live (and Settings), PIN to turn it off
- On-device clean-up tools (duplicates, favourites, guide fixes) that stay on the device
- 24 languages, remappable remote keys, custom themes including a brushed aluminum look
- No ads in the product pitch
That Portal / Server / Direct link split on the manager is the practical M3U / Xtream-style / Stalker-style setup lane. Portal wants MAC-style portal fields. Server login is username and password against a server URL. Direct link takes a playlist URL (FTP m3u8 is mentioned too). I am not going to invent protocol marketing names the marketing site never prints in big letters. Use the forms the app and website actually show you.
Free forever, Enhanced for the cloud bits
The free app is the core player. Trinity Enhanced unlocks the advanced cloud pieces: profile backup codes, playlist sync with the website, and related Enhanced tooling. Official copy gives you 2 days of Enhanced free when you create an account. No credit card required for that trial pitch on the homepage.
Playlist sync is explicit on the account page: nothing syncs automatically until you push from the app (Send to website) and later pull (Get from website). Enhanced is required for that sync lane. Cloud backup codes auto-delete 30 days after upload, per the same page.
You can activate Enhanced on multiple devices from the account area. Removing a device frees a slot. Free tier still works if Enhanced is not active. Treat Premium talk online carefully. On the official site the paid / trial lane is branded Trinity Enhanced.
Install path that matches the site
Official Fire Stick / Android TV install path from the homepage:
- Install Downloader from the Amazon Appstore or Google Play
- Open it and enter code 1318384, or go to trinitytvplayer.com/tv
- Install the APK (allow unknown sources if prompted)
They also say you can sideload via a file manager or USB. Version on the page I checked was framed as v1.0, coming soon to Google Play. Prefer the official site over random mirror APKs.
First proper setup is boring in a good way: add your authorised source, wait for it to load, then live in the guide. If the list is a mess, the on-device tools are there to hide duplicates and tidy favourites without sending your library to some random cloud for AI magic.
The bits that made me look twice
Multiview is not a gimmick if you actually watch live sports or news. Two or four panes, sound follows focus, full-screen any pane when you care. Catch-up and recordings matter more on a stick with tiny storage, which is why the NAS / SMB path and Drive backup of finished recordings are worth reading about before you fill the stick.
Kiosk mode with a PIN is the guest-room / kids-device feature. Live only until someone who knows the PIN unlocks it. That is parental-style lockdown for shared screens, not a full content rating system. Still useful.
The Online Manager is the grown-up bit. Remotes are awful for renaming 400 channels. Push the playlist to the website, edit groups and channels on a real keyboard, pull it back. That alone is enough reason to try Trinity if your current player forces every rename through on-screen typing.
Who this is for
If you want a free couch-first player with an official web manager, multiview, catch-up/recording options, and an optional Enhanced upgrade for cloud backup and playlist sync, Trinity is aimed at you. If you only want Netflix from the Amazon store, you do not need it. If you expected channels built in, wrong kind of software entirely.
